We use two categories of scents in our candles. Some are native of Iran:
Jasmine. Certain jasmine species, such as yellow jasmine are native to Iran and grow in warmer regions. The fragrance of jasmine is very popular in the Iranian culture.
Dog rose. This flower is completely native to Iran, growing in mountainous and temperate regions. It has a mild and pleasant scent.
Seven flower. It is a general name for a scent extracted from plants like zinnia, bougainvillea and certain other Iranian orchard flowers. However, some of the components are not native to Iran.
The others are not native to Iran:
Lavender. It is native to the Mediterranean and Southern Europe. However, it is cultivated in certain parts of Iran like Hamedan and the northern regions of the country.
Lily. This flower does grow in Iran. However, most of fragrant iris varieties are indeed native to Europe. The varieties growing in Iran are primarily ornamental.
Pines. Most pine species are native to colder regions of the world. While certain pine species have been planted in the forests of northern Iran, they are not native to the country.
Forest Fragrance. It is a combination of scents of wood, damp plants, moss and leaves used to convey the odor of forest
